As the first California neurosurgeon to devote his practice to minimally invasive spine surgery, Dr. Robert S. Bray, Jr. founded DISC in 2006 with the vision of revolutionizing spine care. He remains at the forefront of this field and has performed over 14,000 successful surgeries on elite athletes, celebrities and people of all backgrounds. He is recognized globally for his forward-thinking and accurate diagnoses, often recommending less invasive treatments with faster recoveries. Dr. Bray is the official medical provider for Red Bull North America and USA SailGP. Before launching DISC, he founded the spine program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and served as the Chief of Neurosurgery at Travis Air Force Base.
