Anuradha Lala-Trindade (Anu Lala)’s expertise includes all aspects of heart failure care, including mechanical circulatory support, heart transplant, cardiomyopathies, and perioperative management of high-risk surgical cases. She believes in a patient centered approach and implements state-ofthe- art therapies while integrating emotional and spiritual care. She is the Director of Heart Failure Research, serves as part of the NHLBI Cardiothoracic Surgery Network, leads the advanced heart failure fellowship program at Mount Sinai, has authored over 100 articles, and is deputy editor for the Journal of Cardiac Failure. She has been an AHA Young Professionals Society Honoree and received prestigious teaching awards from the American College of Cardiology.
