Profile
Dr. Baron Lonner is the Chief of Minimally Invasive Scoliosis Surgery and is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. His passion for the past 25 years has been the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with scoliosis and other spinal deformities. Dr. Lonner’s focus is on restoring and maintaining function for his patients by correcting spinal deformities that have an impact on the patient’s body shape and self image and by preserving flexibility whenever possible. His new focus is in the development of non-fusion approaches for scoliosis correction. Dr. Lonner is in leadership roles for the Scoliosis Research Society and the Setting Scoliosis Straight Foundation.
