Dr. Cynthia M. Magro is a distinguished professor of pathology and laboratory medicine, as well as the director of the dermatopathology service, at Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Dr. Magro received her training at Harvard Medical School. She is internationally known in dermatopathology, co-authoring more than 470 papers, several book chapters, and three textbooks: The Melanocytic Proliferation, The Cutaneous Lymphoid Proliferation and The Cutaneous Biopsy Interpretation. Her expertise focuses on the pathological analysis and diagnosis of benign and neoplastic cutaneous lymphocytic infiltrates, melanocytic proliferations, cutaneous manifestations of systemic disease, complex autoinflammatory/autoimmune disease, vasculitis/ vasculopathy, immunofluorescence, COVID-19 pathophysiology, and drug reactions.
