Dr. Lawrence Lustig currently serves as the Howard W. Smith Professor and Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is a board certified Otolaryngologist with a sub-specialty certification in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery. He has strong clinical and research interests. Clinically he treats the spectrum of disorders related to hearing, balance and the facial nerve. These range from simple ear infections, hearing loss and dizziness to complex tumors involving the ear and cranial base such as acoustic neuromas. He also performs surgery for a variety of types of hearing loss, including cochlear implants. Dr. Lustig takes great pride in providing top quality and compassionate clinical and surgical care to each and every patient he sees.
