A graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Dr. Maxim Tyorkin completed both his internship and residency at Stony Brook University. He continued his training at the prestigious Southern California Orthopaedic Institute with a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Tyorkin is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Tyorkin believes the best treatment plans include educating and including patients in the decision-making process while tailoring a plan to fit their individualized needs.
