Dr. Michael Kang is an orthopedic surgeon who joined the Insall-Scott-Kelly Institute in 2006 after finishing his fellowship in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Stanford University. His specialties include Anterior Total Hip Replacement as well as minimally invasive partial and total knee replacement. Recently, he has developed a program for out-patient total joint replacement in the ambulatory surgery setting. He has also worked on design teams to develop computer navigation devices currently utilized in hip and knee surgery as well as implant designs sold both in the U.S. as well as internationally. He sees patients on Long Island with privileges at St. Francis Hospital and East Hills Ambulatory Surgical Center.
